El «Loro» was born on September 30, 1959. He played as a goalkeeper and his debut was in 1976 while playing for Andes Talleres de Mendoza.
In 1998 he received the Distinction for «Outstanding Professional Soccer Athlete» and won 11 titles in his career.
His last club was Audax Italiano. He retired in 1998 and is currently the sports director of Colo Colo.
