He was the Top scorer Copa Libertadores 1973, Top scorer Second Division B of Spain 1974–75, Top scorer First Division of Chile 1979, Best Player of the Copa América 1979, Top scorer First Division of Chile 1980, Top scorer First Division of Chile 1981, Three times «Golden Shoe» trophy as First Division scorer in 1979 – 1980 and 1981. He also won the Award for outstanding football career CONMEBOL 2009
His last club was Barcelona SC where he retired at the end of 1986.
